SAN JOSE, CA -- A week-long sales conference for Altera Corporation, the leading supplier of programmable logic solutions, culminated in two days of general sessions at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame, CA . Integral to the two-day sessions were 13 videos produced by San Jose-based Tam Communications. Tam's Creative Director Susan O'Connor Fraser produced the videos, working closely with Altera's marketing team on each component.

Designed to reinforce the content presented by the Altera management team, the videos added lighter moments as well, with video skits which played off popular television and movie themes while conveying important sales messages. The videos also communicated current positioning on Altera Components, Tools, Megafunctions, and Applications.

This marks the third year that Tam has collaborated with Altera on video components for the sales conference. Production of the videos for this year's event required the involvement of both of Tam Communication's staff directors, Tam Fraser and Timothy George, with over 13 days of production. All five of Tam's editors were required to complete post-production, working day and night over a three week period.

"It was a great opportunity for us to show how well we can move projects from pre-production through post including all graphics and special effects...solely using in-house staff and facilities," commented O'Connor Fraser. "This capability allowed us to provide ultimate flexibility to Altera to add another video, for example, in the last few weeks of the project, or to accommodate any changes they needed with minimal impact."
