SAN JOSE, CA -- San Jose theatre has come to life again on the World Wide Web, thanks to a revamped site produced by Tam Communications for the San Jose Repertory Theatre (www.sjrep.com). In response to the needs and suggestions of the Rep's customers, the San Jose visual communications company revised the initial art and design for a more vibrant and user-friendly web experience.

One of the most important changes was the format of the home page. "While the old page was a jumping-off point, the new page is an information resource," explained dk blanar, who created the art and design for the updated site, as well as programming the HTML and Javascript. Visitors to the site are immediately greeted by a synopsis of the current show, ticket information, and a letter from the theatre's artistic director, as well as a number of navigation options.

In addition to the colorful new art and expanded layout, Tam added features and content. The site now provides links to theatre resources and Bay Area arts and theatre groups, as well as a local calendar of events. Visitors can also find more information about the San Jose Repertory Theatre itself, including its many community service and outreach programs.
