SAN JOSE, CA -- Tam Communications recently helped Epigram, Inc. introduce its new InsideLine technology and iLine10 chipsets at COMDEX with a video and CD-ROM. The video was used in the booth as an attract loop and promotional piece, and was also presented at the first COMDEX SuperSession by Epigram's Vice President of Marketing, Tony Zuccarino, and television's Al Borland (Richard Karn). The CD was used as an educational promotion at COMDEX, and will now serve as a direct mail piece and sales tool.

Both the video and CD use 3-D graphics and other complex effects to explain Epigram's remarkable home phone line technology, which is targeted for the home and small business markets. InsideLine easily allows consumer electronics and computing equipment to be networked just like in a high-speed networked office setting, but uses the telephone wiring already in homes. Epigram iLine10 chipsets received the "Best New Technology" award at COMDEX.

The intensive pair of projects required the talents of several members of Tam's staff. Susan O'Connor Fraser wrote and produced both the video and CD-ROM. Timothy George directed the video, which was edited by Ed Cook and Tam Fraser. Sandra Silva was art director for both pieces, and also served as post supervisor. Sunny Su created the CD-ROM art, Aaron Dingman the 3-D graphics and animation, and Karen Toensfeldt integrated the media for the CD.
