SAN JOSE, CA -- Tam Communications recently staged the 1999 Worldwide Meeting for Pleasanton-based Documentum, Inc., handling the orchestration and execution of this annual event. Open to all Documentum employees, its international sales force, partners, and consultants, the conference was held January 11 to 14 in San Francisco. Day one attendance exceeded 800.

As producer, Tam Communications managed Documentum's event in numerous capacities; services ranged from overall theme development to technical consulting. The introductory program, envisioned by Producer Susan O'Connor Fraser, required 22 videos to be woven throughout a 30-minute multimedia presentation, detailing the history of Documentum. Tam created all the original media for the main room, and was also responsible for logo creation, art direction, speaker support, lighting and other visual effects, additional video material, and event staging. Tam also provided all audio, video and computer equipment, and directed the show on location.

In addition to developing the creative treatment for the conference, O'Connor Fraser wrote the video and multimedia scripts and served as on-site director. Co-Producer Donna Rowell assisted with coordination and staging.

Led by Timothy George, Tam's production team shot the video segments at Documentum facilities in Philadelphia, Houston, London, San Jose and Pleasanton. Tam's Sandra Silva created the conference logo and provided the art direction for all video, graphics and print components.
