SAN JOSE, CA -- Recently Tam Communications partnered with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford to complete a video overview of the hospital's substantial family care services. Directed at patients and their families, the ten-minute video works to reduce the stress associated with a child's hospitalization, while emphasizing the compassionate atmosphere and dedicated staff of LPCH.

Focusing on the people, environment and services of LPCH, the video features interviews with the parents of the patients as well as footage of hospital life, including scenes of doctors, nurses, and social workers with patients; volunteers reading to children; families cooking together in the patient kitchen; and inter-faith chaplains providing support. The video effectively conveys the range of resources available to family and patients at LPCH, showing that the staff and volunteers are always ready to help families retain a sense of normalcy during a difficult time.

Recognizing the community value of the project, Tam contributed its services to make the video possible.
