Tam Communications Producers Honored

SAN JOSE, CA -- Two Tam Communications producers were honored last month, as Michele Bertolone and Siiri Tuckwood were included among the Top 100 Multimedia Producers of 2000 by AV Video Multimedia Producer Magazine. They were selected from a large pool of nominees by a panel of highly regarded producers and recognized as being among the best in the industry. A reception will be held at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art on December 11th to honor the recipients of this prestigious award.

Having collectively worked at Tam Communications for over 14 years, Bertolone and Tuckwood join Tam Communications' co-founder Susan O'Connor Fraser as AV Video honorees. Fraser was recognized as a top producer by the magazine in 1998.

"It's fantastic to receive this kind of industry recognition, and I'm especially happy for Michele and Siiri; this is the kind of public recognition they deserve. We've known for years that we have the best people in the industry working for Tam, and we've seen it proven time and time again by the return business and the award-winning work from Siiri, Michele and our many other producers," said Tam Communications' CEO Timothy O'Connor Fraser.

Bertolone has completed numerous interactive presentations for Tam's clients, including Synopsys, One Touch, and Hewlett-Packard. Her work also includes "Preemies: The Fight for Life" and "Infants: Fight for Life," airing this month on the Discovery Channel. Other recent credits include projects for LogicVision, Echelon, and San Mateo County Transit.

As Writer, Creative Director and Producer, Bertolone is known for her ability to develop innovative approaches to multimedia and web projects and to design intuitive and complex interfaces that take full advantage of interactive media. Always cognizant of the client's objectives and target audience, her work pushes the envelope to create engaging experiences that achieve results. She has recently been promoted to Creative Director at Tam.

Tuckwood has produced numerous multimedia programs, including trade show presentations, CD-ROMs, and web sites for a long list of clients, including Blue Pumpkin Software, Digital Microwave, Centric Media, Coherent, and Antigenics. She has produced programs and events for a number of Tam clients, including Clorox, American President Lines, Lucent, the City of San Jose, Winchester Mystery House, and Emery Worldwide.

Tuckwood is considered one of the consummate multimedia producers in her ability to manage the myriad of media elements that are inherent to any interactive project. A favorite with her clients, TuckwoodÕs project management expertise has come into play in getting extremely complex web, CD and DVD projects completed on time and within budget. She is now applying her interactive expertise to her new position as Director of Tam's Graphics and Interactive Group.
