SAN JOSE, CA -- Tam Communications was once again recognized for its achievement in developing outstanding entertainment and corporate media, winning awards at both the San Jose Film and Video Commission's Joey Awards and the International Association of Business Communicators' "Bay Area Best" Awards this month.

At the November 4th Joey Awards ceremony, which took place at Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, Tam came home with top honors in six categories ranging from print to web to video to television. This was out of 15 total nominations--the most of any company recognized that evening.

Founded in 1982, the Joey Awards recognizes creative achievement in broadcast and non-broadcast media with entries from all over the country.

In addition, on November 8th, the International Association of Business Communicators bestowed an Award of Merit to Tam Communications in the "External One-Time Program" category. The trophy was presented to Executive Producer Susan O'Connor Fraser for the Networld + Interop 2000 campaign Tam produced for Network Appliance.

The Bay Area Best Awards are presented annually by the combined San Francisco and Silicon Valley Chapters of IABC and honor achievements in a number of business communications categories.
