Scotts Valley, CA - Tam Communications, working in association with their client CoWare and Creatus, a database development company based in San Jose, have recently launched the new corporate site for CoWare. CoWare, the leading provider of system-level design solutions for SoC (system-on-chip) designers, had originally come to Tam over three years ago when it needed its previous site created. Tam’s extensive experience with EDA companies made it a logical choice to take the CoWare site to the next level. Tam completed that project and has been maintaining the site ever since. So when it came time to launch a new site, Tam was a natural to consider. This time around, however, CoWare wanted to add database capability including having the site designed with Oracle’s Portal software. That required capabilities that Tam had to outsource. Creatus came highly recommended as an able partner.

Tam's effort included redesign of the information architecture, an entirely new look and feel, copy writing and editorial assistance. Creative Director/Executive Producer, Susan O’Connor Fraser, conceived the look and feel of the new site working with Art Director Mike Baxter. Susan also managed the project through launch. In addition to all the work Creatus completed in portal, Tam’s team was also supported by Timothy O’Connor Fraser who provided technical assistance in the months leading up to launch.

Immediately following launch, CoWare and Tam teamed up again to announce the launch of a new product called ConvergenSC. The new project required updates to the CoWare web site as well as the development of a presentation to be given at the Design Automation Conference. For the latter effort, Susan O’Connor Fraser wrote a script and helped cast the booth talent, Corey Rosen, who would give the live presentation at the Anaheim-based event. The presentation itself was developed in Flash by integrator, Jason Guerra.
