Scotts Valley, CA – The Credence booth at Semicon West in downtown San Jose was alive with activity and not just with potential customers and sales reps. The walls of the booth were adorned with holographic art while projectors sent images to lucite panels suspended from the ceiling. And strategically placed throughout the booth were demo stations where booth visitors were enticed to stop and watch presentations on Credence products. In one crowded corner, visitors gathered around a PowerPoint presentation that was jazzed up with 3D animations showing the innovation of the new Personal Kalos 2. In yet another, Credence’s Verity solution was featured in a 3D-laden video which pointed out how two Credence solutions were now being integrated to make a powerful offering to the semiconductor test market. And in yet another, Octet was the star of an animated presentation showing off its Embedded Temperature Stabilization and Air-Cooled technology.

All three presentations were the brainchild of Tam’s Executive Producer and Creative Director, Susan O’Connor Fraser. The 3D-animation was all created by Aaron Dingman with Mike Baxter assisting with some additional animation including sequences involving AfterEffects compositing. Tam Fraser edited the two videos which included live action shot on location on a Credence customer’s test floor.

The various pieces are now being repurposed for the web and will soon be available on CD for use by the Credence sales team. And over the next several months, trade show audiences from around the world will get a hint of what those in San Jose enjoyed, as the DVD-based presentations make their way to Semicon Taiwan, Japan, and Europa.
