Scotts Valley, CA - The Santa Cruz-based Peachwood’s Steakhouse calls themselves “The Home of the Complete Meal”. If you’ve ever eaten there, you’d agree...and then some. We’ve been a fan for over ten years, which led us to creating the restaurant’s web site (www.peachwoods.com) and then a series of television commercials. This time out our work together resulted in a DVD to help them promote their wedding business.

Timothy O’Connor Fraser produced for Tam Communications working with Director/Cameraman Tam Fraser. The result of their collaboration is an eight-minute promotional video that features the unique location that Peachwoods has to offer couples looking for a place that’s both beautiful and affordable. The video features the lush outdoor setting, which comes complete with a gazebo. Tam’s film-look shows off how much the locale is reminiscent of a Hawaiian garden. The video features a real wedding that occurred at Peachwood’s. The Tam team captured the event from the bride getting ready in one of the adjacent Inn’s suites to the ceremony to the reception, which begins with guests enjoying appetizers and cocktails on the deck while the wedding party takes photographs. It culminated with the sit down meal (Peachwood’s also offers tempting buffets) and then the dancing in one of the restaurant’s banquet rooms.

In addition to the main wedding, woven through the piece are interviews with two happy couples who also exchanged their vows at Peachwood’s. The finished program edited by Tam is already being used by the Peachwood’s wedding coordination staff—looping at bridal shows and sent to interested couples.
