SCOTTS VALLEY, CA--"Non-stop" was the theme for Creative Director Jim Barnes two new of television commercials for Mineta-San Jose International Airport. The two :15 spots, directed by Tam Fraser, feature Joyce Chin and Franco Finn talking non-stop about all the places you can fly out of the airport. As the talent droned on, talk bubbles pop up over their head, to their side, and eventually occupy about 75% of the screen.

3D Artist and Animator, Aaron Dingman, had the challenge of fitting all the individual city names into various size bubbles and then have them animate on screen. Fraser then switched gears and put on his editing hat and went to work in Tam's digital editing suite--compositing the many bubbles into several layers of video. To add to the challenge, the team had only a few weeks to bring the concept to screen.
