Scotts Valley, CA - Long-time client, San Jose-based LogicVision, turned again to Tam Communications for a variety of projects. In May, when LogicVision launched LV2005, a major new product for the Yield Learning company. Tam worked closely with the LogicVision marketing team on graphics that would spice up the product presentation and clearly show the benefits of the new and improved product. Concurrently a new version of the company's web site was launched to reflect the broadened product offering. A new datasheet template was also developed and new product information was poured into the template on each of the products that encompassed LV2005 to aid sales reps in presenting the product's value to potential customers. Tam's Executive Producer, Susan O'Connor Fraser, worked with Salt 'n Paper Studio on the design, Dewdrop Media on the programming infrastructure and Lisa Adams, as HTML integrator for the web site.
On the heels of the product launch was the Design Automation Conference where LogicVision would have their first opportunity to demo the product to a wide range of prospective customers. An e-marketing campaign was developed promoting LogicVision's DAC involvement and inviting people to sign up for a product demo during the show. Then, continuing the theme of "Eyes in the Die" that had been rolled out in 2004, O'Connor Fraser exploited the theme of Eyes Through Time in the company's booth. A six-minute video presentation was developed which began with memorable eyes in history--from the Eye of Buddha to Cleopatra to Mona Lisa to the Third Eye to LogicVision's Eyes in Die. O'Connor Fraser wrote the video which went on to explain the significance of LogicVision's technology and then to give an overview of LV2005. Tam Fraser edited the program, with 3D graphics by Aaron Dingman and 2D graphics by David Trounstine. The video is now streaming from LogicVisio's web site.
During the event, and in support of the concept, a booth gatherer in full Cleopatra regalia would encourage attendees to stop in and learn more. A photographer stood by so that attendees could have their pictures taken with Cleopatra.
Additional unique elements created by Tam included lenticular posters where the LogicVision eyes seemed to follow you as you moved by them. Giveaways, lenticular coasters, were also created and handed to those who stopped in for a demo. Tam's David Trounstine worked with Salt 'n Paper and Big 3D out of Fresno on production of the booth graphics and giveaways.
