SCOTTS VALLEY, CA--Butler Amusements, the largest carnival operator on the West Coast, has another unique program to offer employees. The company is now training all of its ride operators with a 30-minute video, written and produced by Susan O'Connor Fraser, and directed and edited by Tam Fraser. The video has been translated is available in both English and Spanish.

The video covers safety, ride operation, guest relations, accident prevention and reporting, and emergency preparedness. It features real Butler employees correctly performing all of the functions depicted. Tam spent two-days on-location with Production Assistant, David Trounstine, to capture the necessary imagery for the script. He then took the material into Tam's digital editing suite for post-production.

Hannah Balcomb translated the English script into Spanish and Tam Fraser directed one of Butler's bi-lingual ride supervisors for the Spanish narration.
