SCOTTS VALLEY, CA--A fresh new look, flash, and video are all part of the new Electroglas web site developed by Tam Communcations and launched in time for Semicon West, the biggest trade show in the U. S. for semiconductor equipment manufacturers. San Jose-based Electroglas wanted a design that incorporated new product information and reflected their current corporate branding.

Tam's Executive Producer/Creative Director, Susan O'Connor Fraser, developed the information architecture for the new site and then worked with Art Director Mike Baxter on the design, which was then integrated by Lisa Adams. The site features a downloadable version of the Electroglas corporate video, also produced by Tam Communications. Each main page of the web site also serves up a flash animation, either a product photo animation or an export of 3D elements from the corporate video. The original 3D was designed by Aaron Dingman and Tam's digital media associate, David Trounstine, made the flash animations web-ready.

In addition, Tam worked with Electroglas' Investor Relations Web Services provider, Thomson, to ensure that the investor relations pages of the web sit reflected the same look as the rest of the site. The new site can be viewed at www.electroglas.com.
