Coast Guard Rescues Web Site Launched

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA--The founders of Tam Communications, Tam and Susan O'Connor Fraser, announced today that they've launched a new web site. Coast Guard Rescues is dedicated to providing high quality rescue-oriented programming to the public. The web site at coastguardrescues.com is the culmination of a decade-long dream for the two who have been working with the Coast Guard since 1995 on television projects ranging from a weekly syndicated series to specials for the Discovery Channel and Travel Channel.

The web site was designed by Susan, working closely with Tam's Digital Media Specialist, David Trounstine. Since it's beta launch in mid September, the site has already undergone several changes and is in the midst of another. "We wanted to get the site up before the opening of "The Guardian" but we also had a longer term vision for the site that is continuing to be realized," notes O'Connor Fraser. "For example, we've had the community portion of our web site up for a little over a week now and we already have a number of submissions for stories and pictures."

Additionally, the site's founders noted that they're in the process of completing the first group of webisodes. Each webisode or video feature will first be available for screening by those on the Coast Guard Rescues mailing list and then the segments will go live on the site. The first feature to be available for private screening this week is on the Coast Guard's Rescue Swimmer Training Class called "A School".
